Welcome to My New Content Site
New Personal Web Site Built by AI
The software landscape has shifted dramatically in just a few months thanks to AI. A year ago, most engineers I knew were only using Generative AI to write unit tests. Today, many tell me the majority of their codebase is agent-generated.
My previous website was built with Jekyll. I loved writing in Markdown, but it lacked the dynamic application logic I wanted—like a newsletter subscription. Between work and life, I rarely had time to build those features from scratch.
However, after experiencing how fast AI accelerates prototyping, I realized rebuilding the site from the ground up would be trivial. While I use tools like Cursor and Claude Code professionally, I’m a Google AI subscriber personally, so I utilized Google's Antigravity to create this new platform. At the meantime, I use Google's Stitch (still in BETA) to create the UI design for this website. It really works well, I asked Stitch's agent to create the design, and copy the code over to Antigravity, and ask it to apply the theme and styles.
After a few hours over a weekend, plus targeted tweaks here and there, the new site is officially live. It’s modern, fits my exact needs, and serves as a perfect foundation for what's next.
